日産 内田社長が3月末で退任 後任はイヴァン・エスピノーサ氏
日産自動車は11日取締役会を開き、内田誠社長が3月末で退任する人事を決めました。
業績の悪化などの経営責任を問われたとみられ、後任の社長には商品企画の責任者を務めるイヴァン・エスピノーサ氏が就任します。
日産自動車は11日、取締役会を開いてトップを含めた新しい経営体制を議論した結果、内田誠社長が3月末で退任し、後任の社長に商品企画の責任者を務めるイヴァン・エスピノーサ氏をあてる人事を決めました。
日産は今年度の決算で800億円の最終赤字を見込むなど業績が急速に悪化していて、内田社長は経営責任を問われたとみられます。
新しく社長に就任するエスピノーサ氏は、メキシコ出身で2003年にメキシコ日産自動車に入社しました。
2018年から日産の常務としてグローバルの商品戦略や商品企画を担当し、去年4月からは商品企画などの責任者を務めています。
日産は業績の悪化に加えて、ホンダとの経営統合の協議もわずか1か月半で打ち切っていて、社長に就任するエスピノーサ氏をはじめ、新たな経営陣は早期の業績立て直しとともに、新たな提携戦略をどう打ち出していくか、難しいかじ取りを迫られることになります。
