日本原子力発電によりますと、震度2の揺れを観測した茨城県東海村にある東海第二原子力発電所は運転を停止していて、これまでのところ、先ほどの地震による異常は確認されていないということです。

また、原発周辺の放射線量を測定するモニタリングポストの値にも変化はないということです。

茨城県警察本部によりますと、午前5時の時点で先ほどの地震による被害の情報は確認されていないということで、引き続き情報収集を進めています。

茨城県防災・危機管理課によりますと、午前5時現在、けが人や建物への被害などの情報は入っていないということで、引き続き情報を集めています。

茨城県内で震度4の揺れを観測した常総市や筑西市などを管轄する各警察署によりますと、これまでに被害の情報は確認されておらず、引き続き情報収集にあたっているということです。
