主に子どもが感染し、手足や口に発疹ができる「手足口病」の患者は、前の週より減ったものの依然として多い状態が続いていて、28都府県で警報レベルを超えています。

「手足口病」は手や足、それに口の中などに発疹ができるウイルス性の感染症で、主に幼い子どもの間で流行し、まれに脳炎など重い症状を引き起こすことがあります。

国立健康危機管理研究機構によりますと、先月26日までの1週間に調査の対象となっている全国およそ2000か所の小児科の医療機関から報告された患者数は1万5729人でした。

1医療機関当たりでは6.98人で前の週より2.37人減ったものの、依然として多い状況が続いています。

都道府県別では、群馬県で13.75人と最も多く次いで、栃木県で13.19人、埼玉県で12.93人、愛媛県で12.67人、神奈川県で12.15人、長野県で10.93人、山形県で10.54人などとなっていて、28の都府県で警報の目安とされる5人を超え、全国的に多い状況です。

厚生労働省は、感染を広げないために、せっけんと流水でしっかりと手を洗うことや、タオルの共用を避けることなどを呼びかけています。
