オリックス 山岡泰輔投手が活動再開へ オンラインカジノ利用
プロ野球・オリックスの山岡泰輔投手が過去にオンラインカジノを利用したことを認め、活動自粛を命じられた問題で球団は「強く反省していると判断した」として13日から活動を再開することを了承したと発表しました。
オリックスは2月21日、山岡投手が過去にオンラインカジノを利用したことを認め、コンプライアンス違反の疑いがあるとして、当面の活動自粛を命じたことを明らかにしていました。
球団によりますと、その後、本人と対話を繰り返し「強く反省していると判断した」として、NPB＝日本野球機構とも相談の上で、13日から活動を再開することを了承したということです。
山岡投手は当面、球団の施設で個人練習を行い、3月下旬にチームに合流する予定です。
球団は警察にも相談していて、捜査が終わるのを待って最終的な処分を決めるとしています。
山岡投手は、球団を通じて「皆様からの信頼を損ねることになった行動を深く反省しています。自分と向き合いながら、ボールを握れない日々を過ごし、野球が自分にとっていかに大切なものか痛感しました。野球ができることの喜びを胸に刻んで、全力を注いで取り組んでまいります」などとコメントしています。
