コメ価格高止まり続く 農水省が相次ぎ対策 本格的な値下がりは
コメの価格の高止まりが続く中、農林水産省は、この1週間も、追加で備蓄米の購入申請の受け付けを開始したほか、主食用として輸入するコメの入札も例年より前倒しするなど相次いで対策を打ち出しました。一連の取り組みで、コメの本格的な値下がりにつなげられるかが焦点です。
去年の2倍程度のコメの高値が続く中、6月9日に発表されたスーパーでのコメの平均価格は、5キロ当たり税込み4223円と、2週連続で値下がりしましたが、前の週からの下落幅は37円にとどまりました。
こうした中で、農林水産省は、割安な備蓄米の販売を加速させようと、6月11日から、追加で令和3年産の備蓄米およそ12万トンの購入申請の受け付けを始めました。
さらに、6月12日には、小泉農林水産大臣が、主食用として輸入するコメの入札を例年より前倒しし、6月中に実施する方針を表明し、「米価高騰のためにはできることは何でもやるというメッセージを政策として打ち出す一環だと捉えていただきたい」と述べました。
一方、随意契約で売り渡された備蓄米は6月13日には、沖縄県のスーパーでも販売が始まり、47都道府県すべてで販売が始まった形となりました。
ただ備蓄米の販売を始めた大手のスーパーやコンビニの間からは、精米作業を課題として挙げる声も上がっていて、農林水産省にとっては、こうした声に対応しつつ、一連の取り組みによって、コメの本格的な値下がりにつなげられるかが焦点です。
