アップル、メールやウォレットでブランドロゴ表示に対応
アップルは16日、「Apple Business Connect」を強化すると発表した。Appleマップのほか、ウォレット、メールなどのアプリにおいて、ブランドがロゴなどを表示できる機能を追加し、ブランドとユーザーのつながりを強化していく。

Business Connectは、従来から店舗やブランドがAppleマップ上で店舗情報やブランドロゴなどを追加したり、注文を受ける機能などを展開していたが、新たにメールやウォレットなどのアプリにもロゴ等の情報掲出が可能になる。また、オンラインのみでサービス事業展開しているビジネスも、Business Connectに登録可能となり、ビジュアルのブランドアイデンティティを構築できるようにする。
Business Connectの新機能では、メールアプリや電話アプリに自社ブランドを表示可能になるほか、iPhoneのタッチ決済に表示される自社のロゴをカスタマイズできる。また、Branded Mailにより、自社のブランド名とロゴをユーザー宛てのメールに表示できるため、メールアプリの中で自社のメールが目立ち、より認識しやすくできる。
Branded Mailへの登録は開始しており、2024年内にユーザー向けの自社のロゴ表示が可能になる見込み。
2025年には、Business Caller IDにも登録可能となり、利用者に連絡を取る際、ビジネスの名前、ロゴ、部署が着信画面に表示されるため、確認済みのビジネスと迷惑電話などの不要な連絡とを見分けるのに役立てられるとしている。
