東京メトロ、タッチレス改札機を実証　国内初のBluetooth利用

東京メトロは3月2日～3月10日、南北線白金台駅で「タッチレス改札機の東京メトロ社員向け実証試験」を実施する。東芝、Sinumyと連携し、社員を対象に検証を行なう。 便利でスムーズな鉄道サービスの提供を目的に、3社が開発した次世代乗車システムを検証する取り組み。既存の自動改札機を活用しながら機能を拡張し、利用者のスマートフォンと改札機がBluetooth通信を行なうことで、改札機にタッチせず通過できる仕組みを検証する。場所は南北線白金台駅の日吉坂方面改札。 利用にあたり生体情報の事前登録は不要で、専用アプリをインストールしたスマートフォンのみで利用可能とする。スマートフォンと自動改札機がBluetooth通信を行なうことで、スムーズな通過を目指す。 Bluetooth通信を用いたタッチレス改札機の駅での実証試験は国内初の取り組み。3社は同試験を通じ、タッチレス改札機の実現に向けた検討を推進する。 試験ではICカード専用改札機を改造し、タッチレス機能を付加する。同駅の利用者は従来通りICカードをタッチして利用できる。一方、実施期間中の10時～16時(土日を除く)は当該改札機を閉鎖し検証を行なう。
