Stripe、PayPayに対応 カード分割払いも可能に
ストライプジャパン(Stripe)は22日、日本における新たな取組を発表し、PayPayオンライン版やカードの分割払いなどに対応する。Stripe上で対応できる日本のコード決済はPayPayが初となる。

Stripe上のPayPayの特徴は、4営業日で入金が完了するほか、途中離脱を軽減する決済体験、モバイルアプリやWebなど様々な環境に標準対応することで開発者の工数削減も図れる。加えて、Cookieに依存しないセッション管理により、ブラウザのプライバシーモードやアプリ内ブラウザでも安定した決済体験が可能という。
Stripe 日本法人代表取締役のダニエル・へフェルナン氏は、PayPay対応について、日本のキャッシュレスの中でも大きく伸びていることや、要望の多さを理由に挙げる。要望は「圧倒的にPayPayが多い」とのことで、他のコード決済やBNPL対応などは顧客のフィードバックや重要性などを判断しながら決めていくという。
カードの分割払いにも対応。ユーザーにとっては支払いを先伸ばしできる便利な機能だが、導入企業においては月末入金が通常で、遅い場合は数カ月後になるなど、入金のタイミングが把握づらく、またキャッシュフローへの悪影響があるという問題があった。
今回Strpieが導入するカード分割払いでは、通常のクレジットカード入金と同様に4営業日での入金が可能。そのため、導入企業についてはキャッシュフロー改善に繋がり、追加の手数料も発生しない。最大60回までの分割に対応する。
分割払いについても、日本ではボーナス払いの習慣があることなどでニーズは高く導入を決めたという。
■ 不正対策も強化 ネットワークトークンも
ストライプジャパン代表取締役の平賀充氏によれば、Stripeは世界のGDPの約1.3%に相当する1.4兆ドル(210兆円)の決済処理を実現。「インターネットのGDPを拡大する」というミッションに向けて、大手企業からAIカンパニー、バーティカルSaaS、小規模事業者など、幅広く導入が進んでいるほか、ステーブルコイン決済プラットホームのBridgeを2024年10月に買収し、今後国際間の資金移動などでも拡大していく方針。
日本におけるDXの推進のためのStripe導入を推進しており、大手ECパッケージの「EC Cube」などとの提携も発表。また、DeNAとのパートナーシップも締結し、「DeNA Pay」の実現なども支援している。
DeNA Payは、DeNAアカウントの保有者が事前にチャージした金額内で、対応サービスの支払が可能な決済手段。DeNAアカウントの保有者が事前にチャージした金額内で支払いが可能で、横浜スタジアムでの野球観戦につかう「BAYSTARS STAR GUIDE」アプリや公式リセールサービス「ベイチケリセール」に対応する。
Strpieを導入した理由について、ディー・エヌ・エー ソリューション本部 本部長の菅原 賢太氏は、ドキュメントが整備されており「開発者体験が良い」こと、スポーツイベントなど利用の波が大きな用途においても問題が起きず「高い可用性」などを理由にあげている。
また、クレジットカードの不正対策も強化している。Strpieでは3月の3Dセキュア2.0の必須化後も、決済成功率が下がるなどのマイナス影響は出ておらず、自社のAI認証エンジンや、不正対策ツールStripe Raderによる高い不正検知を実現できているという。
加えて、Stripeは日本初となるネットワークトークンのサポートを開始した。ネットワークトークンは、クレジットカードの番号の代わりとなる決済認証情報。カードの紛失や期限切れなどの際に、ネットワークが自動的にトークンを更新するため、顧客が手動で情報を入力する必要がなくなる。また、支払い情報を常に最新の状態に維持でき、機会ロスを軽減できるという。さらに、顧客情報は暗号化するため、情報管理リスクがないなどのメリットもあるという。
Mastercardは2030年までにネットワークトークンへの移行を予定しており、Strpieでは先駆けて導入を進めている。ネットワークトークンは、またオーソリ成功率の向上にも寄与しているという。
