三井住友カードは、SMBC GMO PAYMENTが提供する「stera pack」の新サービス「stera pack light」を提供開始した。個人事業主や小規模店舗、開業準備中の事業者向けで、決済手数料は1.98%～、月額利用料は0円。「stera pack light」で使用する「stera terminal light」は、持ち運び可能な決済端末。クレジットカード、タッチ決済(NFC)、iDやQUICPay、交通系ICなどの電子マネー、PayPay、d払い、au PAY、楽天ペイなどのコード決済に1台で対応する。銀聯と一部コード決済は対象外。端末はレジ前に限らず、テーブルや店外でも利用できる。オプションのSIMを利用すれば、Wi-Fi環境がない場所でも決済が可能。SIMの利用には別途費用が発生する。 Webから申し込んだ後、最短1週間で端末を発送し、到着後すぐに利用を開始できる。専用ヘルプデスクによるサポートも提供する。従来の「stera pack」では、据置型の「stera terminal standard」や、対応する決済ブランドが限定的な「stera tap」を提供していた。「持ち運びたい」「多様な決済に対応したい」というニーズを受け、新たなサービスラインナップとして「stera pack light」を追加した。
