福島第一原発 核燃料デブリ 2回目の試験的な取り出しに着手
東京電力は、15日午前、福島第一原子力発電所2号機で、溶け落ちた核燃料デブリの試験的な取り出しに着手しました。取り出しは2回目で、どのようなデータが得られるか注目されます。
福島第一原発の1号機から3号機には、事故で溶け落ちた核燃料と周囲の構造物が混ざり合った核燃料デブリがおよそ880トンあると推定され極めて強い放射線を出し続け容易に近づけないことから、その取り出しは「廃炉で最大の難関」とされています。
試験的な取り出しは去年11月に続き2回目で、東京電力は、本格的な取り出し工法の検討に向けてさらにデータを集めるため、15日午前10時3分、前回と同じ2号機で着手しました。
前回は装置の接続ミスやカメラのトラブルによる作業の延期や中断がありましたがおよそ0.7グラムのデブリが採取されています。
計画では前回同様、格納容器の中に細いパイプ状の装置を入れ、底にあるデブリを数グラム回収する予定ですが、デブリの性質や状態は場所によって異なると予想されるため、デブリをつかむ位置を最大で2メートルほどずらす予定です。
東京電力は、作業が順調に進めば、来週にも、デブリを格納容器の外に取り出せるとしています。
武藤経産相「今後の見通し 少しずつ前進させていきたい」
東京電力が、福島第一原子力発電所2号機で核燃料デブリの2回目となる試験的な取り出しに着手することについて、武藤経済産業大臣は、閣議のあとの会見で「廃炉に向けて、これから、どのように対応していくのかなど、今後の見通しについて、何とか、少しずつ前進をさせていきたい。東京電力にはまずは安全最優先で対応し、そのうえで、取り出しに成功することを祈っている」と述べました。
