新素材研究所が放つ、都市の“渦の目”。ゴールドウインの米国旗艦店がソーホーに誕生

2026年4月24日、NYマンハッタンのソーホーとノリータの境界に、米国旗艦店となるGoldwin New Yorkがオープン。 設計を手がけたのは、現代美術作家・杉本博司と建築家・榊田倫之が率いる「新素材研究所」。 彼らがコンセプトに掲げたのは、最先端の流行が美しく混ざり合う文化の中心・ニューヨークから、未来へと続く新たな風を巻き起こす「渦の目」のような存在。空間の核となるのは、中央に構える環状の「社」である。 時代を超えて愛されるスタンダードな商品を静かに配置し、空間のすべてが街ゆく人々の目を惹きつける一つの壮大なショーウィンドウとなるよう設計されたという。伝統と革新、 アートとテクノロジーが融合する核のような存在を目指す。 本店のオープンに併せて、「Goldwin 0（ゴールドウイン ゼロ）」のランニングコレクション 「Goldwin 0 Performance Capsule（ゴールドウイン ゼロ パフォーマンス カプセル）」の第2弾も4月24日より発売する。 Goldwin New York 住: 300 Lafayette Street, New York, NY 10012 Block 510 Lot 38 営：月〜土曜11:00〜19:00、日曜12:00〜18:00
