イランの日本大使館の職員ら14人 隣国アゼルバイジャンに退避

外務省によりますと、イランにある日本大使館の職員を含む日本人13人と外国籍の家族1人のあわせて14人が、日本時間の8日朝早く、政府の支援を受けて隣国のアゼルバイジャンに退避しました。

14人は日本時間の7日午前11時半ごろ、政府が手配したバスでイランの首都テヘランを出発し、8日5時前にアゼルバイジャンの首都バクーに到着したということです。

イランの日本大使館にはこれまで21人の職員が勤務していましたが、政府は、滞在する日本人の保護をはじめ大使館の業務を続けていくために必要な人数の職員が引き続き現地にとどまっているとしています。
