メルカリ、高額商品の出品・購入で本人確認を必須化

メルカリは、3月19日より、高額商品の出品と購入時での本人確認(eKYC)を必須化する。安全安心な取引環境に向けた取り組み。なお、金額を含む本人確認が必要な条件は公開していない。

メルカリでは、これまでも銀行口座登録や口座からの入金の際や不正対策において、本人確認を実施していた。また24年11月に公開した、安心安全に関する体制強化と新たな補償方針に基づいて、リスクの高い取引などでの本人確認も拡大している。

これらに加え、新たに高額商品を出品および購入するすべての利用者に、本人確認を必須化する。これにより、高額な商品については本人確認を完了した人の間でのみの取引となり、安全性を向上する。

本人確認の方式は、マイナンバーカードをスマートフォンで読み取る方式と、スマートフォンで本人確認書類とご自身の顔を撮影する自撮り方式の2種類。
