ホンダとソニー EV「AFEELA1」の開発と発売を中止
ホンダとソニーグループは、両社が共同で手がけてきたEV＝電気自動車の事業方針を見直し、開発・販売計画を中止すると発表しました。ホンダはEV事業で巨額損失が発生する見通しになり、戦略の見直しを進めていて、これにともない、技術や工場などを活用することが困難になったということです。
ホンダとソニーグループは、共同で出資している「ソニー・ホンダモビリティ」で自律型の人工知能や高度な運転支援機能を搭載したEV「AFEELA1」の開発を進めてきました。
アメリカ・オハイオ州にあるホンダの工場で生産し、ことしカリフォルニア州で納車を開始したあと、来年前半から日本でも納車する予定でした。
