敦賀原発2号機 審査再申請へ 断層追加調査計画 9月から2年程度
再稼働の前提となる原子力規制委員会の審査で不合格となった福井県にある敦賀原子力発電所2号機について、日本原子力発電は審査の再申請に向け、敷地内の断層の追加調査を早ければ9月から2年程度かけて行う計画を福井県に報告しました。
福井県にある敦賀原発2号機は、再稼働の前提となる原子力規制委員会の審査で原子炉建屋の真下にある断層が将来動く可能性が否定できないとして2024年11月に不合格となり、日本原子力発電は、追加調査を行ったうえで再申請する方針を示しています。
21日、日本原子力発電は敷地内の断層に関する追加調査の計画を福井県に報告し、それによりますと、調査は早ければ9月から2年程度かけて行い、審査で焦点となった、原子炉建屋の周辺にある断層の活動性や、原子炉建屋の真下を通る断層との連続性などを詳しく調べるということです。
日本原子力発電の坂井毅志 敦賀事業本部長は「大規模な調査になるので安全確保に万全を期し、再申請、再稼働に向けてしっかりと地盤調査を進めていきたい」と話していました。
一方、日本原子力発電が敦賀原発2号機の審査を再申請する場合、原子力規制委員会は、断層だけでなく、重大事故に備えた安全対策など基準のすべてを満たす申請書が出されることが必要だとしています。
