石破首相 トランプ氏当選確実受け 早期の会談設定で調整
アメリカ大統領選挙でトランプ前大統領の当選が確実になったのを受け、石破総理大臣は日米同盟の維持・強化に向けて、個人的な信頼関係の構築を急ぎたいとして、できるだけ早期に会談する機会を設けることを調整しています。
アメリカ大統領選挙はトランプ前大統領の当選が確実になり、共和党が4年ぶりに政権を奪還することになります。
石破総理大臣は6日夜「勝利に心からのお祝いを申し上げ、国民の民主主義の選択にも敬意を表したい。連携を密にし、日米同盟をさらなる高みに引き上げていきたい」と述べました。
政府内では日米関係は強固で、政権がかわっても揺るがないといった見方や、トランプ氏側とのパイプの維持にも取り組んできたなどとする、受け止めが広がっています。
一方で、トランプ氏がかつて貿易や安全保障の分野で日本に厳しい姿勢を示したこともあり、今後の出方を警戒する声も根強くあります。
石破総理大臣としては日米同盟の維持・強化に向けて、トランプ氏と個人的な関係構築を急ぎたいとして、できるだけ早期に会談する機会を設けることを調整しています。
来週11日に召集される特別国会で再び総理大臣に指名されれば、今月中旬にペルーやブラジルで開かれる国際会議に出席するのにあわせてアメリカを訪れ、会談する案も含め検討を進める方針です。
