上杉謙信ゆかりの山形 米沢で 「川中島の合戦」再現する催し
戦国武将の上杉謙信ゆかりの山形県米沢市で750人余りの市民が参加して「川中島の合戦」を再現する催しが行われ、本番さながらの迫力ある戦いを大勢の観客が見学して楽しんでいました。
米沢市は上杉家が13代にわたって治めた地域で、「川中島の合戦」の再現は毎年4月29日の上杉謙信の命日に合わせて開かれる、「上杉まつり」の最終日のメインイベントです。
市内を流れる川の河川敷には、よろいやかぶとに身を包んだ地元の人など750人余りが集まり、黒のかっちゅうの上杉軍と赤のかっちゅうの武田軍に分かれて陣を構え、火縄銃の合図とともに合戦が始まりました。
ことしは武田信玄役を空手家の角田信朗さんが務めました。
最大の見せ場は謙信が武田軍の陣地に1人で切り込み、直接、対決するシーンで、馬に乗った謙信が刀をふり下ろし、それを信玄が軍配で受け止めると観客席から大きな拍手が上がっていました。
福島県いわき市から訪れた30代の女性は「初めて見ましたが本格的な合戦に見入ってしまいました。また来たいです」と話していました。
