横浜 花火大会の台船炎上 「適正高度に達せず開花が推定原因」
横浜市で開かれた花火大会で、花火を打ち上げる台船が炎上した火災で、打ち上げを担当した会社は火災の原因について「一部の花火が適正な高度に達せず開花したことが推定原因」と明らかにしました。海上保安部や警察などは業務上失火の疑いもあるとみて捜査を進めることにしています。
今月4日、横浜市のみなとみらい地区で開かれた花火大会で、花火を打ち上げる台船が炎上した火災では、船の上で花火の暴発が続き、発生からおよそ15時間後に鎮火しました。
この火災について、花火の打ち上げを担当した東京 中央区の「日本橋丸玉屋」は、9日、コメントを出し「多大なご心配とご迷惑をおかけしたことを深くおわびします」と謝罪しました。
また、火災の原因について、「一部の花火が適正な高度に達せず開花したことが推定原因だと捉えております。この火が台船上の資機材やほかの花火に引火し、火災を引き起こす事態に至ったと考えております」としています。
そのうえで、今後の対応について、「原因の究明をさらに進め、再発防止のための改善策を講じるとともに、より安全で皆様に喜んでいただける花火を実施するため、全社を挙げて取り組んでまいります」としています。
火災をめぐっては、海上保安部や警察などは業務上失火の疑いもあるとみて、この会社から事情を聴くなど捜査を進めることにしています。
