去年の国勢調査で富山市の職員が居住実態のない世帯を追加するなどして人口を水増しした疑いがあるとして国が刑事告発していた問題で、警察は3日、統計法違反の疑いで富山市役所の捜索を始めました。

総務省によりますと、複数の市の職員が関与した可能性があるということで、警察は捜索で押収した資料を分析するなどして詳しいいきさつを調べるものとみられます。
