ことしで108回目を迎える夏の全国高校野球は、5日、開幕します。まもなく甲子園球場で開会式が始まります。

NHKはすべての試合をテレビとラジオで中継するとともに、「NHK ONE」でも同時・見逃し配信します。

厳しい暑さ対策の一環として、開会式は去年と同じ午後4時から実施され、その後、午後5時半から1回戦1試合が行われます。

ことしは気温が上がりやすい時間帯を避けて試合をする「2部制」の日程がさらに拡大され、大会10日目まで「朝の部」と「午後の部」の時間で行われることになっています。

また、春夏の甲子園で初めてとなるプレーの判定の「ビデオ検証」や女性の審判の登用、それにことしのセンバツ大会で初めて導入された「指名打者制」などの取り組みも注目されています。
