大手光学ガラスメーカーの「HOYA」が、内視鏡の部品の製造を委託する事業者に、金型などを無償で保管させていたのは下請け法に違反するとして、公正取引委員会は、再発防止を求める勧告を出しました。

公正取引委員会によりますと、遅くともおととし7月からことし4月にかけて、内視鏡の部品の製造を委託していた32の事業者に対し、長期間発注しないにもかかわらず、製造に使う金型などあわせて643個を無償で保管させていたということです。

量産品だけでなく、発注の見込みがない試作品の金型も保管させていたということで、公正取引委員会はこうした行為が下請け法に違反するとして21日、再発防止を求める勧告を出しました。

調査に対し一部の事業者は「自社の敷地内で保管しなければならず不満だった」とか「保管するため、外部の倉庫を借りざるをえなかった」などと話していたということです。

HOYAは、先月までに保管費用を含む1400万円余りを事業者に支払ったということで、NHKの取材に対し「勧告を厳粛に受け止め、再発防止に取り組んでまいります」とコメントしています。
