OpenAI、エージェント構築のための新APIなど公開
OpenAIは11日(米国時間)、開発者や企業が信頼性の高いエージェントを構築するための「Responses API」やWeb検索、ファイル検索などの組み込みツール、「Agents SDK」などを発表した。

これらにより、開発者や企業が、信頼性が高く、自律的に業務をこなすなAIエージェントを制作・運用する手助けとする。その第一歩として、今回のAPI等を位置づけている。
Responses APIは、エージェントを構築するためにOpenAIの組み込みツールを活用可能とする、新しいAPI。Responses APIを1回呼び出して、複数のツールとモデルターンを利用し、複雑なタスクを解決可能とする。
Responses APIは、ウェブ検索、ファイル検索、computer useなどの組み込みツールをサポート。Web検索では、「今日起こったポジティブなニュースは何ですか？」といった問から最新の情報をWeb検索で取得し、回答に活かせ、正確な情報取得を特徴とする。
Web検索の件数により費用がかかり、GPT-4o検索では1,000クエリ辺り30ドル、4o-mini検索では、25ドルからとなる。
ファイル検索は大量のドキュメントから関連情報を取得可能にするもので、メタデータフィルタリングなどをサポート。クエリ最適化や再ランク付けにより、追加チューニング無しに強力なRAGを構築できるとする。computer useは、ブラウザ操作をAIが代行するOperatorの仕組みをAPI化したもので、ブラウザやPCの操作をAIにより自動化できる。
これらを活用し、AIがモデルの返答を返すだけでなく、Webや指定のファイルなどの外部情報を参照しながら、回答を得られるようにする。
Agents SDKは、作成されたコアロジックとともに、エージェントのワークフロー構築やオーケストレーション作成を管理・サポートするもの。エージェントが連携し、業務タスクを全体で実行可能にする。
カスタマーサポートの自動化や、コンテンツ生成、営業の見込み客開拓などの業務での活用が可能で、開発者はエージェント設定のナビゲーションなどに時間を取られずに、設定を行なえるとする。
これらの導入により、企業がより複雑なタスクにAIを活用し、労働力の一部としてAIを展開できるようにしていく。
