記録的な豪雨となった千葉県では、一部の川で堤防の損壊などが確認されているとして、気象庁は「レベル4大雨危険警報」など、浸水や氾濫に関する警報を発表する基準を当分の間、引き下げることになりました。

気象庁によりますと、今月13日に発生した「千葉豪雨」では、鹿島川の千葉市内を流れる部分や、印旛放水路の八千代市内を流れる部分で堤防の損壊などが確認されているということです。

こうした地域では河川の増水や氾濫がふだんより少ない雨でも発生する可能性が高まるとして、気象庁は千葉市と八千代市について「レベル4大雨危険警報」、「レベル3大雨警報」、「レベル2大雨注意報」の発表基準の一つ、「流域雨量指数」の基準を当分の間、通常の8割に引き下げます。

気象庁のホームページ上などで危険度を伝える「キキクル」には基準の引き下げが反映されているということです。

気象庁は「ふだんよりも少ない雨で危険度が高まりやすいので、今後の雨の降り方に十分注意して、気象情報が発表された場合には危険な場所からは早めに避難してほしい」と呼びかけています。
