アドビ、作品の“成分”を記録する「コンテンツクレデンシャル」アプリ
アドビは24日、クリエイターが作品を保護し、認証表示を受けられるようにするWebアプリ「Adobe Content Authenticity」のパブリックベータ版を提供開始した。24年10月に発表し、Chrome拡張などを提供していたが、多くのユーザーがWebアプリを利用可能になる。

「Adobe Content Authenticity」は、デジタルコンテンツの「成分表示ラベル」のような「コンテンツクレデンシャル」を付与できるアプリ。作成者の情報やどのように作成されたのかの背景情報とデジタル署名を、自分の作品にメタデータとして付与可能とする。
誤情報やAI生成されたディープフェイクへの懸念が高まる中で、「誰がどのように」作成したコンテンツなのかをわかりやすく表示する狙い。アドビが主導するContent Authenticity Initiativeには、4,500社を超えるメンバーが参加している。
Adobe Content Authenticityアプリでは、検証済みの身分情報と追加情報の添付のほか、最大50枚のJPG、PNGファイルにコンテンツクレデンシャルを一括で付与できる。動画や音声についても近日中に対応予定としている。
従来は、アドビ製品や一部のカメラなどでコンテンツクレデンシャルが付与できたが、「Adobe Content Authenticity」によりアドビ製品以外のユーザーも自身でクレデンシャルを付与できる。
コンテンツの適切な帰属を示すだけでなく、クリエイターのアイデンティティやXやInstagramなどソーシャルメディアカウントなども登録可能。また、「生成AIのトレーニングおよび使用に関するプリファレンス」を付与することで、他の生成AIモデルに対して、自分のコンテンツを「トレーニングに使用されたくない」と明確に意思表示できる点も特徴としている。
新たにビジネスSNSの「Linkedin」とも連携し、クリエイターのLinkedinアカウントと連携して認証済みのIDとする「Verified on Linkedin」も開始。Content AuthenticityアプリとBehanceプラットフォームに統合する。
また、ペイントアプリの「Fresco」もコンテンツクレデンシャルに対応。これにより、「生成AIなし」で作成したことを明示できるとする。
今後は、Content AuthenticityアプリをPhotoshop、LightroomなどコンテンツクレデンシャルをサポートするCreative Cloudアプリに統合。最終的にクリエイターがAdobeアプリ全体でContent Credentialsの設定を管理する“ハブ”として機能させていく。また、数カ月以内に、LinkedInもコンテンツクレデンシャルのサポートを拡大し、Content Authenticityアプリで添付された属性情報をプラットフォーム上に直接表示する予定。これにより、プラットフォーム間で「信頼シグナル」を接続できるようになる。
