グーグル、AIモード検索でGemini 2.5 Proに対応(米国)
Googleは16日(米国時間)、AIモード検索でのGemini 2.5 Pro モデル導入やDeep SearchなどをGoogle AI Pro(月額2,900円)、Google AI Ultra(同36,400円)ユーザー向けに順次提供開始する。

AIモード検索は、質問をサブトピックに分解し、複数のクエリを同時に実行することで、これまでのGoogle 検索よりもウェブをより深く探索し、質問にあった関連性の高いコンテンツを発見できる仕組み。現状、米国とインドのユーザー向けに展開しているが、今後多くの国や地域に拡大予定としている
このAIモードにおいて、より深く調べたい場合に最上位のAIモデルである「Gemini 2.5 Pro」を選択可能になる。また詳細な調査を行なうDeep Searchに対応。数百の検索を実行し、多様な情報を統合して推論し、数分で引用元を記載した詳細なレポートを作成できる。
新機能は、米国のGoogle AI Pro/AI Ultraの契約者で、LabsでAIモードの実験に参加しているユーザーが対象となる。
また、新たなAIエージェント機能として、AIを活用したローカルビジネスの通話機能に対応。例えば、「近くのペットサロン」を検索し、結果に表示される「AIで価格を確認」を選択してリクエストを送信すると、AI検索により複数の店舗から予約情報やサービス内容をまとめ、選択肢を表示する。この機能は米国の全ての検索利用者向けに順次提供開始し、AI Proなどの有料契約者向けにはより多くの利用権が与えられる。
