NHK ラジオ国際放送問題 中国籍の元外部スタッフに賠償命令
NHKのラジオ国際放送の中国語ニュースで、原稿にはない発言を行った中国籍の元外部スタッフに対しNHKが賠償を求めた裁判で、東京地方裁判所は「発言によって放送内容の客観性や正確性についての社会的信用が大きく損なわれた」として請求どおり1100万円の賠償を命じました。
去年8月、NHKのラジオ国際放送の中国語ニュースで、中国籍の元外部スタッフが沖縄県の尖閣諸島の帰属などをめぐって、原稿にはない日本政府の公式見解などとは異なる発言をしました。
NHKが「業務を妨害された」として、賠償を求める訴えを起こしたのに対し、元スタッフは出廷せず、反論しませんでした。
1日の判決で東京地方裁判所の足立堅太裁判長は「元スタッフの発言は国際放送業務を妨害し、信用を損なわせたもので、不法行為にあたる」と指摘しました。
そのうえで「発言によって放送内容の客観性や正確性についての社会的信用が大きく損なわれた」として原稿から逸脱した発言を生放送で行ったことの悪質性を認め、元スタッフに請求どおり1100万円の賠償を命じました。
判決についてNHKは「主張が認められたと評価したい」としています。
