アメリカのEV＝電気自動車メーカー、「テスラ」が発表したことし4月から先月までの決算は、EVの販売が増えて増収となりましたが、AI関連の投資が膨らみ、営業利益は57％減少しました。

それによりますと、売り上げは前の年の同じ時期と比べて26％増えて282億3600万ドル、日本円で4兆6024億円でした。

中東情勢によるガソリン価格の高騰を背景にEVの需要が拡大したほか、イーロン・マスクCEOの政治的な言動をきっかけに去年広がった不買運動の反動もあって、新車の販売が増加したことが主な理由です。

一方、本業のもうけを示す営業利益は3億9800万ドル、日本円で648億円と、57％減少しました。

マスクCEOは電話会見で、「ことしは設備投資が極めて大きな年だが、投資するすべての分野が大きなリターンをもたらすと確信している」と述べました。
