ふるさと納税の仲介サイト「ふるさとチョイス」を運営するトラストバンクは、顧客の氏名やメールアドレス、それに住所などの個人情報、445万件あまりが外部に流出したと発表しました。

会社ではサイトで不正アクセスの疑いがある事象を検知したとして、19日、サービスを一時停止し、個人情報の漏えいがないか調査を行っていました。

その結果、「ふるさとチョイス」に会員登録をしている顧客の氏名やメールアドレスのほか、住所や電話番号など445万件あまりの個人情報が外部に流出したことが確認されたということです。

会社では、サービス再開の時期については、現時点で未定としていて、安全性を確認したうえで周知することにしています。
