Salesforceは、Slack上でAIエージェントとチームが共同でソフトウェア開発を行なえる「Slack Code」を提供開始した。すべてのSlackプランで利用できるが、連携する各パートナーのAIエージェントへのアクセス権が別途必要となる。 Slack Codeでは、特定の開発作業やプロジェクトごとに専用の「コードチャンネル」を作成する。Slack上の会話からコーディングエージェントを呼び出すとチャンネルが作られ、参加者はエージェントとの会話や計画、コード差分、プレビューをリアルタイムかつチャンネル内で確認できる。 参加者は作業内容を確認しながらフィードバックを送り、エージェントの作業を一時停止したり、方向を修正したりできる。作業終了後はコードチャンネルが自動的にアーカイブされ、履歴が残る。 本番環境へのコード反映など重要な操作では、エージェントが作業内容をまとめ、人による承認を必要とする仕組みも導入する。コードチャンネルにはSlackのセキュリティモデルや権限、管理者向け制御も適用される。 提供開始時点では、Anthropic Claude、Cognition Devin、GitHub Copilot、ChatGPT、Vercelのエージェントと連携する。コードチャンネル向けAPIも用意し、アカウント作成やユーザー認証などを組織の運用に合わせて組み込める。
