LINEアプリにステーブルコインウォレット「Unifi」 LINE NEXT
LINE NEXTは9日、LINEアプリ上で使えるステーブルコインウォレットサービス「Unifi」をグローバルで開始する。
従来「Unifyプロジェクト」として展開していたサービスを、「Unifi」の名称で一般公開するもの。LINEアプリで動作し、LINEをはじめ、GoogleやNAVER、Apple などのソーシャルアカウントでログインするだけでウォレットを作成し、すぐに利用できる。
預け入れ・保管・決済・送金など、ステーブルコインを活用する全プロセスをひとつのサービスで提供し、暗号資産に不慣れなユーザーでも手軽に使いこなせるとしている。今回のローンチにあわせて、ドル連動ステーブルコインであるテザー(USD₮)を優先サポート。今後、さまざまなステーブルコインを順次導入していく。
預け入れ額に応じて基本年率4～5%の利息を提供するほか、立ち上げを記念した期間限定は最大年率8%水準の利息を毎日提供する。
Unifiはノンカストディアル型ウォレット(ユーザー自身が資産の秘密鍵を管理する方式)となる。また、SentBeを通じて、シンガポールのDPTライセンスを保有するTriple Aのオフランプソリューションと連携することで、Unifi上でステーブルコインを現金化し、自身の銀行口座へ送金できる。
なおLINE NEXTは、これまで個別に運営していた Dapp Portal(分散型アプリのポータルサービス)とMini Dapps(LINEアプリ内で動作する小型分散型アプリ)をUnifiプラットフォームに統合。ゲーム・ソーシャル・コンテンツなどのアプリにおいて、Unifi ウォレットで決済したり、ミッションに参加して報酬を獲得できるようになる。
