NTTドコモは、ことし12月から50以上の料金プランで値上げを実施すると発表しました。物価の上昇や基地局の増設などの設備投資が必要なことが主な理由だとしています。

それによりますと、ことし12月から新規の受付を終了しているものも含む56の料金プランで、月額で税込み110円から550円の値上げを実施するということです。

例えば、手続きをオンラインに特化した料金プランでは、基本のデータ容量を30ギガバイトから40ギガバイトに引き上げたうえで、月額の税込みの基本料金を2970円から3135円に165円値上げします。

値上げの理由について会社は、電気代や人件費などの上昇に加えて、新たな基地局の設置やセキュリティー対策などへの投資が必要なためだとしています。

会社によりますと、ドコモの契約件数の7割余りが今回の値上げの影響を受けるということです。

NTTドコモの齋藤武副社長は「AIの普及やセキュリティー対策もホットな話題になっている。将来を見据えた投資をするためにもこのタイミングでの値上げをご理解いただきたい」と話していました。

携帯料金をめぐっては、KDDIが去年、ソフトバンクがことしサービスの内容を見直すなどして、既存プランの料金の値上げを行っています。
