「九州の屋根」とも呼ばれているくじゅう連山では、毎年山開きの日に合わせてたくさんの登山者が山頂に集まり、万歳三唱を行います。
万歳の発声は一番の年長者がする習わし。
登山歴70年。89歳の男性が、この行事にかける思いを1分の映像でお届けします。
