みずほ銀行とVisa、国内キャッシュレス拡大で協業
みずほ銀行とビザ・ワールドワイド・ジャパン(Visa)は、キャッシュレス決済に関連した包括的なパートナーシップ契約を締結した。みずほグループ全体で、クレジットカード決済の拡大に向けた協業を開始する。
国内のキャッシュレス市場の成長や政府の拡大目標を背景に、ユーザーの利便性向上や事業者の業務効率化といった課題に両社で取り組む。
具体的には、日本国内におけるクレジットカード決済の連携強化として、システム連携やセキュリティ強化、加盟店ネットワークの拡充を行なう。また、スマートフォンアプリの機能拡充や新たなデジタル決済手段の導入、ポイント還元施策なども共同で検討していく。
企業間取引におけるキャッシュレス決済の導入も推進する。みずほ銀行の法人取引の知見とVisaのグローバルな決済インフラを活用し、請求書決済や経費精算などのBtoB領域におけるキャッシュレスサービスの提供を強化する。これにより、企業の業務効率化や資金管理の高度化を支援し、BtoB市場全体のキャッシュレス化を加速させるとしている。
