aarkeのソーダサーバー「Carbonator PRO」に宿る洗練と革新性
北欧デザインの系譜を継いだ合理性とシンプルな美しさ。シングルハンドで4ステップというほかにはない機能も備えている。aarkeのソーダサーバー「Carbonator PRO」には多彩な魅力がある。その一端を紹介しよう。

aarkeの最新ソーダサーバー「Carbonator PRO」が、いかに洗練されているか。スカンジナビアのデザインならではの無駄のないたたずまいや、上質な素材感（ボディのほとんどはステンレス鋼だ）だけではない。片手のみ、4ステップというかつてなかった極めて軽やかな操作性にこそ、その理由がある。
もちろんその背後には、イノベーティブなアイデアや技術が存在している。ステップは驚くほどイージーだ。
1. 水（冷やしておくとなおいい）を入れたガラスのボトルを台座にセットする。
2. カバーを押し下げて（とても滑らかに動く）ロック。
3. 本体の上にあるボタンを好みの炭酸にあわせてプッシュする（1～3回を推奨）。
4. カバーの右側にあるレバーでロックを解除してリリース。
これだけ。つまり片手だけで（もちろん両手を使ってもいい）すべての操作が完了してしまうのだった。
忘れてはならないのはボトルがガラス製になったこと。厚手で丈夫につくられていて、重みはあるが、そのぶん安定感があり食洗機での洗浄も可能になっている。なにしろプラスチックにはない上質さが魅力だ。スクリュー式の蓋も金属製という徹底ぶりも、aarkeらしい「シンプルな美しさ」を反映したものと言えるだろう。
カラーリングはマットブラックとスティールシルバーの2タイプを展開。選択は間違いなく悩ましい。光を吸収するか、あるいは反射するか。陰か陽か。まったく対極にあるので相対的な比較は不可能だ。
逆に言えば、どちらを選んでも、果たして正解。ゆえに安心して直感を信じるべきだ。結果はすでに約束されている
