AI戦略を担当する小野田経済安全保障担当大臣は、高性能AIによるサイバー攻撃の事例などを踏まえ、政府全体で必要な予算や人員を着実に確保していく考えを示しました。

来年度予算案の概算要求を前に、政府は、24日、AI施策に関する会議を開き、内閣府や経済産業省、防衛省などの幹部が出席しました。

この中で、小野田経済安全保障担当大臣は「AIの技術進展の速さは著しく、高性能AIによる自律的サイバー攻撃事案などを踏まえれば、ギアをさらに一段上げて取り組みのスピードを大きく加速する必要がある」と述べました。

そのうえで「防衛をはじめとした戦略的な領域で、データセキュリティーも踏まえたシステムを構築する」と述べ、政府全体で必要な予算や人員を着実に確保していく考えを示しました。
