SBI、独自の日本円ステーブルコイン「JPYSC」
SBIホールディングスとStartale Group(スターテイル)は、共同開発を進めている日本円ステーブルコイン「JPYSC」を発表した。2026年度第1四半期の正式ローンチを目指す。
JPYSCは、日本の金融規制に対応し、新生信託銀行が信託型の3号電子決済手段として発行するステーブルコイン。日本国内・グローバル市場の双方を対象に、規制に準拠したデジタルファイナンスの進展の大きな節目と謳う。既存の金融システムとブロックチェーンネットワークをシームレスに接続する設計で、国際的に信頼される「デジタル円」の基盤構築を目指す。
このプロジェクトでは、SBI VCトレードが販売パートナーを務め、スターテイルはコアパートナーとしてプロジェクトを主導している。
ステーブルコインは現在、主要金融機関や大手企業から強い関心が寄せられており、実務決済や資金管理、クロスボーダー決済(国外送金)など、幅広い用途での活用が期待されているという。JPYSCは、エンタープライズ向け決済機能として、機関投資家レベルの大規模取引やトークン化資産の決済にも対応可能な設計も特徴。従来の金融システムとブロックチェーン基盤をシームレスに統合し、デジタルエコシステムを横断、グローバルな相互運用性を実現するとしている。
