青森 黒石 武者姿のこけし作り 子どもの健やかな成長願い
来月5日の「こどもの日」に向けて、武者姿の男の子をかたどったこけし作りが青森県黒石市で進められています。
黒石市にある観光施設「津軽こけし館」にある工房では、ことしも「こどもの日」にちなんで武者の姿をした男の子のこけしを作っています。
工房では、県の伝統工芸士の阿保六知秀さんが、電動ろくろに取り付けたイタヤカエデの木をかんなで削り出していきました。
そして、こけしの表面を紙やすりでなめらかにしてから、紫や黒の染料で色をつけていました。
完成したこけしはよろいを身につけた勇ましい装いで、表情にはつり上がった眉としっかりと結んだ口が表現され、りりしく仕上げられています。
このこけしは魚の「こい」と刀とともにセットで販売され、店頭や施設の運営サイトから注文できるということです。
こけし職人の阿保さんは「子どもの健やかな成長を願ってこけしを作っています。手作りで表情が一つ一つ微妙に異なっているので、これだというものを選んで、ぜひ玄関先に飾ってほしい」と話していました。
