秋篠宮さまと長男の悠仁さまは14日、岩手県陸前高田市を訪れ、東日本大震災後の地域医療を担ってきた診療所を視察されました。

秋篠宮さまと悠仁さまは14日午前、秋篠宮さまが総裁を務める社会福祉法人「済生会」が運営する陸前高田市内の診療所を訪ねられました。

この診療所は、15年前の震災で打撃を受けた地域医療の再生を目的に、4年後の2015年に設立され、これまでに1万人以上の患者の診療にあたってきました。

済生会によりますと、おふたりは診療所に通う人たちとひざをつきながら会話を交わし、健康状態などについて気遣われていたということです。

悠仁さまは診療所の医療機器についても熱心に質問し、「この診療所がみなさんのお役に立っていることがよくわかりました」と話されていたということです。
