19日夕方、富山県黒部市の海水浴場を訪れていた群馬県の小学4年生の男の子が沖合に流されているのが見つかり、病院に運ばれましたが死亡が確認されました。

警察によりますと、19日午後5時半すぎ、黒部市にある石田浜海水浴場で「子ども1人の姿が見えなくなった」という通報が警察に寄せられました。

警察や消防、海上保安部などが捜索にあたったところ、通報からおよそ40分後に海上保安部が沖合に流されていた男の子を発見し、市内の病院に運ばれましたが、死亡が確認されました。

警察によりますと亡くなったのは群馬県富岡市の小学4年生、畠山祐吾さん（10）で、所属しているサッカーチームの試合でチームメートなどと18日から富山県を訪れていたということです。

黒部市によりますと、現場の海水浴場は今月11日に開設されていたということで、警察は当時の状況などを詳しく調べています。
