来年度予算案の概算要求で、財務省は、国債の償還や利払いにあてる国債費について、債券市場での金利の上昇傾向を背景に利払い費が膨らむことなどから、過去最大となる36兆円余りを要求する方針です。

今月末にに締め切られる来年度予算案の概算要求で、財務省は「国債費」について36兆6386億円を要求する方針です。

このうち利払いにあてる費用は、今年度予算を3兆円余り上回る16兆5888億円で、過去最大となります。

利払い費が膨らむのは、債券市場で、先週、長期金利が一時、2.945％と29年10か月ぶりの高い水準となるなど金利の上昇傾向が続き、利払い費を計算する際の想定金利を今年度予算の3.0％から3.8％へと引き上げるためです。

今回の概算要求では、社会保障費や防衛費などの伸びも見込まれるほか、各省庁の要求額に上限を定めない新たな投資枠が設けられたこともあり、一般会計の要求総額は前回の122兆円余りを大きく上回って過去最大を更新する見通しです。
