9月5日、TOYOTA GAZOO Racing(以下、TGR)は「GR86」の特別仕様車「RZ “Yellow Limited”」を発表した。
GR86 RZ “Yellow Limited”は、RZグレードをベースに、2015年に発売した86特別仕様車GT“Yellow Limited”と同じ「サンライズイエロー」を外板色として特別に採用。
足まわりには、専用ダークグレーメタリックホイール、brembo製ブレーキ、SACHS(ZF)ショックアブソーバーを装備し、よりスポーツ走行性能を向上させた。
インテリアには、外板色に合わせたイエローステッチ(ステアリングホイール・シフトブーツ・パーキングブレーキレバー&ブーツ・フロントシート・ドアアームレスト)や専用の刺繍を随所にあしらった。
加えて販売店装着オプションとして、特別仕様車専用のイエローオーバーロックを施した、フロアマットも用意（車種タグネーム・GRエンブレム付）。価格は1台分で¥26,400だ。
GR86 RZ “Yellow Limited”の価格は、6MTが¥3,897,000、6ATが¥3,995,000。全国のGR Garageにて300台限定抽選販売となる。抽選販売期間:は9月5日から9月21日まで。
