長野 軽井沢町 来年6月から「宿泊税」導入する方針
長野県軽井沢町は観光振興の新たな財源として、来年6月から「宿泊税」を導入する方針を明らかにし、宿泊料金に応じて段階的に税額を引き上げる制度の骨子案を公表しました。
宿泊税は長野県が来年6月から県内全域を対象に導入を目指していて、これに合わせて県内の各自治体でも独自に課税を検討する動きが広がっています。
このうち、国際的な保養地として知られる軽井沢町の土屋三千夫町長が27日会見を開いて、宿泊税の骨子案を明らかにしました。
それによりますと、宿泊料金に応じて段階的に税額を引き上げるとしていて、県の徴収分を含め
▽宿泊料金が6000円以上1万円未満で1人1泊300円
▽1万円以上10万円未満で350円
▽10万円以上で800円に設定するとしています。
導入時期は長野県と同じ来年6月を目指し、最初の3年間は経過措置として、宿泊料金が1万円未満の場合に限り1人1泊200円にするということです。
宿泊税の導入で年間7億円から9億円の税収が見込まれ、町では
▽町道の電柱をなくすなど景観の整備や
▽旅行客を受け入れる医療体制の充実などに充てることにしています。
土屋町長は「訪れる人が長期滞在したくなるよう、中長期な視点を持って魅力的な観光地づくりに取り組みたい」と話していました。
