JR渋谷駅に新駅舎・新南改札 7月21日使用開始
JR渋谷駅の渋谷サクラステージと渋谷ストリームの間の位置にて、新南改札が7月21日から使用開始となる。この場所では線路上空への駅舎新設が進められており、新南改札は新駅舎内となるが、新駅舎全面開業は2026年度となる。

新南改札は現在は恵比寿方面にあるホテルメッツ内にあるが、7月21日初電から移転する形となり、現在の新南改札は同日0時30分をもって閉鎖される。移転後の新南改札は山手線・埼京線の両ホームへ直接アクセスが可能。
新駅舎は6階建てで、改札等の駅設備があるのは3階。山手線ホームへのアクセスは使用開始時点ではエスカレーターのみのため、エレベーターを使用する場合は他の改札を利用する必要がある。
新駅舎の1～2階はホーム・荷捌きスペース、4～6階はJR東日本ビルディングが運営する賃貸オフィスとなる。3階の通路も暫定利用で、今後コンコースおよび上部オフィスフロアの整備が進められる。
JR東日本は、渋谷駅桜丘口地区市街地再開発組合、東急、渋谷区と協力し、渋谷駅の国道246号線南側のまちづくりを推進している。新南改札は、渋谷サクラステージ、渋谷ストリームと接続する。
渋谷サクラステージは渋谷駅桜丘口地区市街地再開発にあたるプロジェクトで、'23年11月に歩行者デッキやエスカレーターなどの歩行者ネットワーク、広場を開放している。店舗等がおおむね開業する7月26日にまちびらきイベントを実施する計画で、100店舗超の商業施設、オフィス、住宅(ブランズ渋谷桜丘)などが入居する。
