最新・上海ファッションウィーク、注目すべきブランドは？
2400万人以上の人口を擁する大都市・上海のファッションシーンが盛り上がっている。アジア最大級のファッションウィークの中から、若手ブランドの発表の場であるレーベルフッドを中心にレポートする。

中国最大級のファッション都市、上海でのファッションウィークが、3月25日から3月31日まで開催された。中国を拠点とするブランドのファッションショーやプレゼンテーションだけでなく、ロエベ初の大規模展覧会「CRAFTED WORLD」が3月22日にスタートし、その晩には、上海を代表するクラブのALLでシュプリームのシークレットパーティが開催。また翌3月23日には、中国初となるシュプリームの旗艦店もオープンと、ファッションウィーク開催直前から話題は尽きず、活況を呈していた。
そんな上海ファッションウィークの公式スケジュールには、約70ブランドが参加するが、世界中のジャーナリストをはじめとする業界人が注目するのは、2016年にスタートした若手デザイナーをサポートするプラットフォームのレーベルフッド（LABELHOOD)によるランウェイとプレゼンテーションだ。
中国発のブランドを集積したショップの運営などを行うレーベルフッドは、日本国内での取り扱いも多いフェン・チェン・ワン（Feng Chen Wang）、Netflixの番組『ネクスト・イン・ファッション』で注目を集めたエンジェル チェン（Angel Chen）、今シーズンはミラノでランウェイを行ったプロナウンス（Pronounce）、ロンドンと上海の2拠点で活動するサミュエル グイ ヤン（Samuel Guì Yang）、そして上海ファッションウィーク / Shanghai Fashion Weekのトリを飾るシュシュ/トング （Shushu/Tong）など、飛ぶ鳥を落とす勢いの中国ブランドを活動初期から後押しし、中国ひいてはグローバルのファッションシーンで強い存在感を放っている。今回は、レーベル フッドのプログラムで発表されたメンズウェアをレポートする。
レーベル フッドのランウェイは、かつて東洋のウォール街と呼ばれていた西洋風の建築が建ち並ぶ観光スポットの外灘（ワイタン）に近いロックバンド（ROCKBUND）エリアで開催された。ザンダー・ゾウ （Xande Zhou）のショー開始の30分前になると、会場の入り口には、独創的なウェアに身を包んだゲストたちが列をなした。その列の中には前日の晩、Heimというクラブで開催されたサイモン・リー（XIMONLEE）と音楽コミュニティQiao Asiaによるパーティで明け方まで踊り明かしていた顔ぶれも発見。パンデミックの少し前から噂には聞いていた、上海のファッションとユースカルチャーの距離の近さを垣間見た。
ザンダー・ゾウ プロ名義で発表された最新コレクションは、ブランドのプレタポルテとは一線を画すオートクチュールで、science（化学）とceremony（儀式）の造語である「Sciremony」をテーマに掲げている。
悪役のようなマスクやウェアに載るプレート、見慣れない形状のコルセットなどの独特なパーツがまず目を引くが、第1ボタンの位置に3つのボタンを配したシャツや顔を覆うほど大きな襟を持つシャツ、そのシャツ以上に巨大な襟を有するジャケットなど、クラシックなアイテムへのアプローチもユニークだ。SF的な世界観で創作を続けるザンダーは今季、洗練されたスーツやタキシードに、フューチャリスティックな要素を組み合わせることで、未来の祭典や儀式に向けたフォーマルウェアを提案した。
ショーの翌日、レーベル フッドのメンズショップを覗くとザンダー・ゾウのプレタポルテの新作が展示されていた。ショーで見たクチュールとは異なるラインナップに驚きつつ眺めていると、居合わせたスタッフに「いま中国で最も有名かつ人気のあるメンズのデザイナーズブランドのひとつですよ」と話しかけられた。
“return to authenticity”（＝本物への回帰）を今季のテーマに掲げるレーベル フッドは、ファッションウィーク中に、ランウェイだけでなくポップアップイベントやエキシビションを多数開催し、すでに知名度のあるブランドだけでなく、デビューしたばかりの新進デザイナーにもフォーカスした。
そんな新進気鋭のブランドの中からランウェイを行ったAO YESは、『VOGUE CHINA』の元ファッションエディターであるWangと、文化服装学院を卒業したLiuが2022年に創業したユニセックスブランドだ。ザンダー・ゾウと同じエリア内の一回り小さなスペースで行われたランウェイでは、マオカラー（立襟）ジャケットとプリーツスカートをドッキングしたコートや赤が効いた多様なアイテムを披露し、中国の服飾文化が持つオーセンティシティをモダンに昇華した。
また、コレクションのタイトルは日本語の“SENSEI”（＝先生）で、落ち着いたトーンのウールのスーツ、シャツタイ、細いフレームのアイウェア、アカデミックキャップなどを織り交ぜて知的なムードを醸している。東京に縁のあるブランドだけに、日本国内での活躍にも期待したい。
規制されたインターネットやSNS、街のいたるところにある防犯カメラ、完全なキャッシュレス化など、いつかのSF映画で観たような景色を目の当たりにすると、ザンダー・ゾウのような未来を眼差すクリエイティブが中国で支持されるのは自然のことだと、上海ファッションウィークで強く感じた。
