Osaka Metro、130駅で顔認証改札開始 3月25日から
Osaka Metroは、ウォークスルー型顔認証改札サービスを3月25日から開始する。全134駅中130駅で実施する。

大阪・関西万博に向けた、キャッシュレス・チケットレス改札の取組みの一環。Osaka Metro130駅に顔認証改札機を設置し、e METROアプリで購入できるデジタル乗車券と、e METROアプリに登録した顔情報を事前に紐づけることで、乗車券などを改札機にタッチすることなくウォークスルーで利用できる。
顔認証改札機は、パナソニック コネクトの顔認証技術と、高見沢サイバネティックスが製造した改札機を組み合わせて開発。立ち止まることなく通過しながら、ICカードと同等程度のスピードで認証可能としている。
利用できるデジタル乗車券は、Osaka Metro 26時間券、Osaka Metro 48時間券など。
これにより、万博開催時には駅改札で「交通系ICカード」、「QRコードを活用したデジタル乗車券」、「クレジットカード等のタッチ決済」、「顔認証」が利用可能になる。
なお顔認証改札機がない駅・改札口では、QRコードを改札機の読み取り機器にかざして通過できる。
