ミャンマー 特殊詐欺の拠点にいたか 日本人2人をタイで拘束
ミャンマー東部にある特殊詐欺の拠点にいたとみられる日本人の男2人が11日夜、国境を挟んだタイ西部で不法滞在の疑いで地元の警察に拘束されました。警察は2人がミャンマーに渡ったいきさつなどを調べることにしています。
タイの警察によりますと、ミャンマーと国境を接するタイ西部のメーソートで11日夜に31歳と22歳の日本人の男2人を不法滞在の疑いで拘束したということです。
2人とも、タイでの滞在許可の期限が1か月以上過ぎていて、警察に対し不法滞在を認めているということです。
関係者によりますと、2人はミャンマーの特殊詐欺の犯罪拠点にいる可能性が高いとして、日本側が2月にタイ当局に対し解放に向けた協力を要請していた人物とみられるということです。
2人はミャンマーで特殊詐欺に加担させられたあと、2月にタイ側で保護された愛知県の男子高校生と同じ拠点にいたとみられ、警察は、2人が自主的にミャンマーの詐欺拠点に渡ったのか、あるいは、だまされて連れて行かれたのかなど詳しいいきさつを調べることにしています。
一方、ミャンマーの特殊詐欺の拠点で2月下旬に見つかった36歳の日本人の男はミャンマー当局に拘束されていて、タイ側に移送されたあと、日本に強制送還される見通しです。
