年賀はがき、2年で半減 2026年は7億枚発行
日本郵便は、2026(令和8)年用年賀はがきなどを10月30日から販売する。当初発行枚数は7億4,841万枚。価格は無地のもので85円。
過去3年の当初発行枚数は、25年が10億7,000万枚、24年が14億4,000万枚、23年が16億4,000万枚だった。24年との比較でほぼ半減したこととなる。16年の当初発行枚数は30億2,285.2万枚で、26年は10年前の4分の1以下となる。なお、24年10月に年賀状も含めた通常はがきが63円から85円へと値上げされた。
日本郵便では、年賀状に関するデジタルサービスとして、年賀特設サイト「郵便年賀.jp」、作成したテンプレートデザインをLINEで送信することもできる「はがきデザインキット」、年賀はがきとともに選べるギフトを贈れる「年賀用 POST and GIFT」などを提供している。
