じもとHD“10億円以上の最終利益確保見通し”国の管理下脱却へ
宮城と山形が地盤の金融グループ「じもとホールディングス」は、昨年度の決算で10億円以上の最終利益を確保できる見通しがついたなどとして、国が公的資金の投入に伴って保有している優先株への配当を復活させる方針を固めたことがわかりました。配当が復活すれば国の議決権がなくなるため、実質的な管理下から脱却することになります。
じもとホールディングスは、傘下で山形市に本店を置く「きらやか銀行」の業績悪化で2023年度に大幅な最終赤字に陥り、2009年以降に投入された780億円にのぼる公的資金の返済が進んでおらず、国が保有している優先株への配当ができなかったため、国は会社の議決権の63％を取得して実質的な管理下に置いています。
会社は去年、公的資金の返済や配当に向けて経営強化のための計画を策定しましたが、日銀の利上げを背景に利ざやが改善し、昨年度の決算で10億円以上の最終利益を確保できる見通しがついたなどとして、国の優先株への配当を復活させる方針を固めたことがわかりました。
優先株への配当が復活すれば国の議決権はなくなる仕組みで、実現すれば実質的な国の管理下からは脱却することになります。
会社は配当の方針などについて金融庁と最終調整した上で、今月下旬にも公表する予定です。
ただ、公的資金の返済に向けては長期にわたって資金を捻出する必要があり、着実に利益を積み上げられるかが課題となります。
