デジタル庁、ガバメントAI「源内」をオープンソース公開
デジタル庁は24日、ガバメントAI「源内」の一部を商用利用可能なライセンスのもと、無償のオープンソースソフトウェア(OSS)として公開した。
源内は、政府職員が安全・安心にAIを活用できるAI基盤として推進しているガバメントAI。令和8年度(2026年度)において、全府省庁の約18万人の政府職員を対象とした大規模実証を予定している。
公開内容は、源内のWebインターフェース部分のソースコードと構築手順と源内で利用している一部のAIアプリの開発テンプレート・実装など。

源内の一部をOSSとして公開することで、地方公共団体や政府機関における類似のAI基盤の重複開発を防ぐ狙い。特定の事業者やサービスへの依存を抑えつつ、各機関が自らの要件に応じて主体的にAI基盤を運用・発展させることができるようにする。また、民間企業による利用も推奨しており、源内のOSSをベースとし、民間企業が独自のアイデアや技術力を加えたサービスを開発・提供することが可能となる。
