政府 中東の邦人退避のためモルディブで待機の自衛隊機を撤収へ

政府は、中東各地に滞在する日本人の輸送に備えてモルディブに待機させていた自衛隊機を、撤収させることを決め、派遣されていた自衛隊の部隊は近く帰国する見通しです。

政府は、中東各地に滞在する日本人の保護の一環としてあわせて6便のチャーター機で1100人余りの日本人らの退避を支援し、希望者の退避は終えたとして、当面チャーター機の追加運航は行わない方針です。

そして、チャーター機が運航できないなどの不測の事態に備えて今月8日からモルディブに待機させていた自衛隊の空中給油・輸送機1機について、撤収させることを決め、18日午後、茂木外務大臣が小泉防衛大臣に対し輸送準備を終えるよう依頼しました。

防衛省は、現地からの撤収作業を進めることにしていて、派遣されていた自衛隊の部隊は近く帰国する見通しです。
